Nexus Packaging is delighted to announce that we are reducing our short colour run minimum order quantities.
Over the last few months we have been optimising the colour changeover procedures on our blow moulders, grinders and blenders to minimise downtime and scrap levels. As a result, we can offer customers an MOQ on pigmented product from as little as 2,000 units on certain product lines. These can include (PCR) post-consumer recycled polymer, if required.
Manufacturing Director, Charles Wagner explains,
“Our four chamber blenders allow the precise mixing of virgin polymer, regrind, pigment and PCR which enables quick colour changes. In addition, we have enhanced our machine clean down operation to further increase efficiencies. Customers’ custom colour requirements can now be extremely accurately matched and maintained through the bending systems and into our blow moulding machines.”
