Nexus is delighted to announce that we are now able to supply our complete Jerrycan range with a visistrip feature. This is available on both our Compaq and LP Jerrycans, and all containers from 120 grammes through to 180 grammes.
Manufacturing Director, Charles Wagner adds:
When we configured our all-electric blow moulders, we ensured that head spacing, carriage movement and clamp dimensions allowed us to easily move moulds from machine to machine, to best meet demand. We also added visistrip extruders to most machines, primarily for use on our higher value products, but we have now decided to offer this feature on our Jerrycans too. Running a bottle with a visistrip requires our technicians to be extremely accurate in hanging the plastic extrusion (parison) so the visi sits exactly on the centre line of the bottle. We also need to reduce the air pressure during the blowpin entry phase to minimise the disruption to hot plastic inside the mould as it inflates. This feature will help our customers cost-effectively add value to their products and differentiate themselves from the competition.
